Ever since Hubby got back from basic a year ago, we would spend some of our grocery budget on snacks for him to take to drill. A few months ago, Hubby and I moved to a new state. As a result, Hubby had to transfer to a new unit. I decided that instead of buying snacks for him to take, I wanted to bake him some cookies every month. Well, last month the cookies didn’t work out so well.
This month, I decided to try again and thankfully, Hubby did have cookies to take with him to drill. In fact, they were a hit with some of his buddies. Some of them asked if I took orders. Hm… maybe I should start a business.
I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Halloween. Since we have no kids in our family, all of our Halloween festivities will happen before Monday- starting with the Halloween party in my preschool classroom on Friday. I fully intend to dress up. I’m not sure how my costume will turn out, but stay tuned for pictures next week. Hubby and I plan on staying in on Monday and watching a Halloween flick with some yummy snacks.

I always do baked goods to save on work snacks for my hubby as well. :) It can't hurt to try doing a business. If you're good at something, then do it. My motto always is, "You never know until you try." If it doesn't work out, then at least you gave it an effort!
Btw, I also wanted to let you know about a military giveaway I'm doing on my blog. I know this is technically not the way to go about doing giveaways, but I wanted to make sure people were aware of it and wanted to give a heads up to all the military wives' blogs I'm following. Hope you get a chance to check it out! :)
