The World According to a Nine Year Old Boy

A few weeks ago, I was going through some boxes that had never been unpacked when we moved six months ago.  I always feel a little nostalgic when I go through all of the things we don’t go use on a daily, weekly, or even monthly basis.

While going through these boxes, I found some awesome things.  For example, I’d like to introduce you to someone…

Sorry for the horrible grainy picture.  I don't have a scanner so I had to take a picture of it.

This is Hubby as a nine year old boy.  I giggled like a little school girl at the cuteness of this picture when I saw it.  He looks just like his brother C.  If you knew C, you would agree.

I also came across this…

This is a worksheet Hubby did in school.  It’s hard to read but my favorite part and the whole point of this post is the part that reads:
"If I could make one wish for the world it would be war because the Earth needs peace.”

I think he meant to say:
“If I could make one wish for the world it would be no war because the Earth needs peace.

But the message is still clear.  I love how at nine years old he was already aware of what was going on in the world.  It’s no surprise that he wound up in the military.
